Guten Tag from Germany!

We’re in Hannover for INTERSCHUTZ, one of the biggest global gatherings for fire and emergency services and the energy is nearly as high as VEMA’s aerial platforms on display 🚒⬆️

We have been focussing on what’s shaping the future of our sector and what benefits can be brought to our Australian customers.

We’re thrilled to be spending time with our key partners:

• Vema Lift Oy – aerial platform specialists. Visit us at Open-air site (FG), East of hall 27, Stand K50. Hop onboard the 42 FER and 47 FER.

• FireFly Fire Pumps (known locally in AUS/NZ as Firetail Pumps). Visit us at Hall 27, stand B30. A highlight is the 160kg 2000LPM portable pump on display.

If you're at the show, please reach out, we'd love to meet with you!

Inside a controlled burn with Forestry NSW, visibility drops to zero fast.

Smoke closes in. Landmarks disappear. The track ahead? Gone.

This is where HyperSight earns its place.

While the outside world is completely obscured, our thermal imaging cuts through the smoke, giving crews a clear, reliable view of what’s ahead so they can keep moving with confidence.

The footage here was captured using the Hypersight 320R white-hot display. Today, Hypersight takes it further with the 640R model, featuring five palette options and higher resolution for enhanced detail, helping you make faster decisions in critical moments.

Every bushfire vehicle should have this level of visibility. Because in bushfire conditions, seeing clearly isn't a luxury, it’s essential.

A big thank you to Forestry Corporation for the opportunity to visit their controlled burn operations at Carabost State Forest yesterday.

Dave, Rach and Rhys from our Alexander Perrie team had the chance to see firsthand the important work being carried out to protect the pine plantations through well-managed hazard reduction burns.

Riding in one of their Category 1 tankers, built by our team, on the fire ground was an unforgettable experience and a proud moment for us. It was especially rewarding to see our trucks and equipment performing in real conditions and supporting operations on the ground.

Thanks again to Charlie, Tim, Justin and the entire team. We truly appreciate the time, care and effort shown throughout the visit.

Two decades in service and still delivering at 70 meters!

We’ve recently completed a major service on CSIRO’s 70m aerial platform, marking an important milestone for the unit and a great outcome delivered by our team.

After two decades of operation, it’s now prepared for many more years of safe, reliable performance.

As authorised service agents for Bronto aerial platforms, our qualified technicians bring the experience, precision and care required to maintain these highly specialised machines.

From complex major overhauls to ongoing maintenance and support, we work across the full lifecycle of specialised vehicles and equipment — helping our customers keep critical assets operational when it matters most.

This VEMA 52F was built to protect high-risk fuel and oil assets, packing a 4,000L foam tank, massive flow rates and a precision remote-controlled monitor into one integrated rescue platform.
