Westerman haulage and earthmoving of kempsey asked us to modify there side tipper trailer to make the centre tarp support wall removable when switching between doing oversized rock and gravel products after seeing one we’d previously completed

Using heavy duty steel sections that will withstand the hard environment these trucks work in daily

We also added a hoop at the front of the trailer so that the hydraulic hoses can be secured up of the chassis to avoid anything being caught and damaged when the prime mover and trailer articulate

Some work over the long weekend repairing and rectifying cracks on a tipping body chassis of this big green tractor 💪🏻
Cutting out the crack and rewelding and also adding some 10mm plates to strengthen the area more right were it’s crucial in the pivot point , not the comfiest of spots to get into and work but we got it done

A local quarry haulage contractor , Panther haulage recently asked us to under take some rectification work on their side tipper trailer

A new roll over tarp had been fitted however was missing the front and rear walls , so using 200mmx6mm flat bar we filled the gap adding strength using gussets to prevent any damage by machinery when loading the trailer

We were also asked to remove the fixed permanent centre tarp support wall and replace it with a removable option to ease of loading with an excavator when carting over sized rocks
Using 12mm plate and 6mm RHS we fabricated a 2 piece centre bar and when not in use fabricated a blanking plate with a locking pin for the floor to stop any small material falling out onto the road

We were recently asked to design, fabricate & install a set of low mount guard brackets on this freightliner that’s receiving a make over

All laser cut 12mm plate brackets that bolt up to suspension bolts notched around the springs
Made new brackets for a tail light bar incorporating the rear guards mount to the tail light bar

The aim was to hide the mounts as much as possible to give a sleek clean look all while keeping functionality, whilst there isn’t any air built in the suspension the guards still clear the tyres

Customer will paint the brackets and once reinstalled a piece of mirror finished stainless will be folded up and placed between the 2 guards to finish it all off nicely and hide the centre mount some more

She sure will be a head turner once the truck is all completed

A recent quick little job on a herd bullbars bumper bar
Customer wanted 25mm strips welded to the top of the bar underneath the headlights to fill the gap a little more & a 50mm strip at the bottom to give more depth to the bar add mudflap and swing plate mounts
And a good sand and polish to top it all off and make it all pop
