More room for a small second home! 🏡

Victoria’s planning rules now allow small second dwellings up to 80 m², increased from 60 m², with attached decks and verandahs excluded from the size limit.

No planning permit is needed in most cases, and the extra space opens up more practical layout options. A building permit is still required.

The roof is on, windows are installed and external cladding is well underway.

Designed for everyday living.

An open kitchen, dining and living area with a direct connection to the outdoors — creating one central space for everyday family life.

Simple, practical and designed around how the home is used.

Not every part of a home needs to be the hero.

When working within a budget, it makes sense to prioritise the spaces you use every day.

For most families, that’s the kitchen, living and outdoor areas. Get these spaces right first, then keep secondary areas simple.

Good design is as much about where you don’t spend money as where you do.

Progress on site.

The details are really starting to come through on this one, with curved brickwork, feature cladding, high ceilings and extensive glazing giving the home plenty of character.

Looking forward to seeing it all come together.
