That's how many licensed light EVs were on Western Australian roads at the end of June 2026, following almost 66% growth in just 12 months.

That's a pretty clear indication of where transport is heading.

Australia just hit a pretty significant EV milestone!

In the first six months of 2026, Australians purchased more than 103,000 battery electric vehicles, already surpassing the total number sold throughout all of 2025.

In June alone, EVs accounted for around 23% of new vehicle sales.

The shift isn't somewhere off in the future. It's happening now.

And as more vehicles make their way onto Australian roads, the infrastructure, servicing and local expertise to support them needs to grow alongside them.

When we talk electrification, we’re not just talking about cars ⚡

Utes, motorcycles, machinery, specialist equipment… the opportunities for electric technology keep growing. We saw this firsthand when we deployed an electric mini dozer for a project inside a tunnel.

In that environment, traditional diesel equipment would have introduced exhaust fumes, adding another layer of ventilation, safety and operational complexity to the job.

Electric provided a different solution.
