We are looking for a friendly person to work at the Rural Supplies for one day a week! We have a casual position available for a General Assistant— perfect for someone who enjoys variety, customer interaction, and staying alive.

🛠️ What you’ll be doing:
• Helping customers in-store
• Basic admin & computer tasks
• Stocking shelves and putting orders away
• Keeping the shop clean and tidy
• Pitching in whenever needed

📅 Hours: 1 day per week (Wednesday or Thursday would suit us best but negotiable)

⏰ Time: 8:00am – 5:00pm

💪 About you:
• Comfortable using a computer
• Friendly and reliable
• Fit and able to lift feed bags
• Happy to work as part of a small, supportive team

If you are a regular visitor to the Rural Supplies, this is the role previously held by Selena and Kirsty — big boots to fill, but a really good job for the right person 😊

Kangaroo Valley Perennial Pasture Blend. We have been working with Barenbrug, our seed supplier, to develop a KV specific pasture blend with the focus being on persistence rather than production. We've set up a mini trial plot out the front of the store so you can see what the mix looks like. $12.50/kg in 25kg bags or $17.50/kg if you just want a few kilos.

Classic Number 1. Barbless-Barb Wire. Wildlife-Friendly. Usually $165.00/500m roll. Clearance price $95.00/500m roll. 3 rolls available.

Classic Number 2. Waratah Blue Latch 165cm galvanised star posts. Usually $13.95 each. Clearance price $8.95 each. These are star posts fitted with 5 spring latches that keep the fence wires attached to the post. Eliminates the need for fence post clips. Used for 4 or 5 strand plain, barb or barbless fences or 90cm prefabricated mesh. 151 available.

We stopped selling these Sonic Animal Guards, or Shoo Roos, some years ago but the advent of so many silent, sliding electric cars has prompted us to stock them again. The electric cars are so quiet that the wildlife has less warning of an approaching vehicle than they used to have. So the Shoo Roos are back. Only $12.50 a pair.
