Join Our Team as an Apprentice Welder

What You'll Be Doing
-Learning and performing welding duties to fabricate, repair, and assemble metal structures and components.
-Developing skills in a range of welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Stick Welding.
-Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
-Assisting qualified tradespeople with fabrication and welding projects.
-Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work environment.
-Participating in ongoing training and professional development programs.

What We're Looking For
-A genuine interest in welding, fabrication, and engineering.
-Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
-Good problem-solving and communication skills.
-Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team.
-Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
-Completion of Year 10 or higher is desirable but not essential.

We are currently seeking a full time, qualified and skilled Welder to join our team based in Junee.

The applicant will be required to work away from home at times which will also involve some weekends.

Tig/Mig experience essential.
Must to able to read & interpret drawings.
Q Fever clearance would be an advantage but not essential.
Relevant certifications/qualifications essential.
Must be able to weld to Australian standard AS1554 (This is subject to a weld test at the interview stage).
Available to start promptly.
Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
High attention to detail.

Standard workshop hours will be 6:00am to 2:36pm - Monday to Friday. Pay rate will be subject to qualifications & experience. There will be a 3 month probation period with a review.
