Workshop Wonder! 🤯

Giving it a crack yourself? It was a week for fixing handy customer repairs. We know times are getting tougher, as a consequence we are seeing more of these 'that'll do' repairs that often skirt the boundaries of common sense and safety.

Here we have seen blades welded onto the bottom of spindles and PTO switches have screws jammed in them for a quick fix. Some of these are obviously more dangerous than others and are never recommended solutions.

A Chihuahua might get judgey about the danger these repairs might pose, but we don’t. We are here to help and make sure the job is done properly so no one gets hurt 😎🫣

Remember we service and repair most makes and models of Outdoor Power Equipment no matter the age or what shape it is in. So long as parts can be ordered or manufactured and you are prepared for the costs that will be incurred. We always do our best to inspect and give you an estimate before we carry out any major works so you know where you stand before we proceed with the repairs.

Is there an unusal vibration in your drive pedal? Have you checked your transmission drive belt lately?

This week saw some belt failures, the most interesting of which we called in the special investigators to have a look 🤪😂

Can you spot what they did in the long shot? A simple chunk taken because of debris or simple wear and tear, creating vibration feedback in the pedal that could shake the fillings from your teeth when you press the go pedal.
