First Year Apprentice – SWM Fabrications - Churchill QLD

We’re looking to take on a First Year Fabrication Apprentice to join our team.

This role includes a 3-month probation period to ensure the right fit for both you and us.

What you’ll be doing:
• Working in the workshop on stainless steel benches and fabrication jobs
• Assisting with installs and on-site work
• Using hand and power tools
• Learning real trade skills across a range of projects

What we’re looking for:
• Keen to learn and work hard
• Reliable - shows up on time, every time
• Takes direction well
• Has initiative and can handle themselves professionally

This isn’t for you if:
• You’re not serious about working
• You need to be chased up or managed constantly

- Workshop Location: Shed 6/91 Lobb Street, Churchill QLD
- Workshop Hours: Monday to Friday 6am to 2:30pm
- Manual Drivers Licence required

A few projects that we have completed over the last couple of weeks. 15 Stainless steel trolleys for baking bread. Mobile basket trolleys for washing plant equipment at the end of shift. Modifications to semi trailer for carrying Caravans. Lift up ramp, tool boxes mounted underneath, front hitch support, droppers welded into floor for two ball stands and winches mounted on front and underneath trailer. Plus a new farm gate.
