Meet the new Tasmanian Certified Carpet Cleaning Technicians for 2026.

Theory, practical sessions and hands on training, finishing with the IICRC certification exam.

TC Spec brought expert IICRC instructor Chris Kissin from the Clean & Restore Institute to Launceston to work alongside James and help up-skill local carpet cleaners in industry best practice for commercial and residential carpet cleaning.

TC Spec is bringing Chris Kissin, IICRC approved instructor and master textile cleaner, to Launceston for two days of theory and hands on training.

Hosted by James from TC Spec and delivered by Chris, with over 40 years of combined industry experience.

The Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) certification covers the art and science of carpet cleaning to professional service providers and others in related industries.

You will cover fibre, yarn and carpet construction, style types and finishes, soiling conditions, cleaning science and methodology.

Walk away confident in correct techniques including fabric identification, pre inspection, chemical and equipment use for residential and light commercial work.

Includes hands on stain removal and carpet identification.

On completion you are eligible to sit the IICRC exam.
