One of the most unique and memorable relocations we’ve ever been involved in – the historic AH Krawarree (AH1733).

Built during World War II as an Army Hospital Boat, this incredible vessel served in Papua New Guinea, helping evacuate casualties and providing vital medical support during wartime.

Meier House Removals had the privilege of transporting this piece of Australian history from Pimpama to Chinderah, where it could begin its next chapter through restoration and preservation.

Not every day you get asked to move a vessel with such an important story behind it. We’re proud to have played a small role in helping preserve this remarkable part of our history.

Every house removal project is different, and there are a few important things to plan for before moving day arrives.

✔️ Some larger homes may need to be split into two or more sections for safe transport 🚛 but don’t worry, they can be rejoined on site while maintaining the integrity of the home.

✔️ Our quotes include the major transport essentials like delivery, police escorts, pilot vehicles and transit insurance, with the option to include or exclude restumping depending on your plans.

✔️ It’s also important to budget for additional services such as soil tests, engineering plans, plumbing and electrical reconnections, council fees, reroofing and more.
