Earlier this year, we fabricated and installed a wall of steel for in Barton, ACT ✨ the steelwork supports 60 custom concrete planter boxes which we also procured and installed.

One day this wall will hopefully be flowing with greenery, complimenting the buildings timber (CLT) structure 🌿

Great Job Opportunity to Join the Renrow Steel Team in Canberra.

Experienced Draftsperson

We’re looking for someone who can work collaboratively with our projects team to produce effective shop drawings for fabrication and installation purposes. Some projects will require us to draft to engineer’s specifications, whilst other projects will require collaboration and design between you and the Project Manager to achieve innovative outcomes for our clients. We supply and install over a thousand tonnes of steel and aluminium each year across Canberra and Sydney, so we’ll continue to work closely with our team of external draftspeople to spread the load, and there’ll be times where you’ll be integral to coordinating projects with them.

The types of work we draft include structural steel for commercial and industrial buildings, high-end commercial and residential architectural steel, and metalwork like balustrades, handrails, decorative facades/screening, etc. The right candidate will have a good eye for detail, an effective work ethic, and good communication skills. They’ll be motivated by design and collaboration, interested in steel and aluminium, and attracted to the constant pursuit of improvement.

Fabrication has commenced on the Murrumbateman and Googong School Balustrades for ✨ ⁠

Approximately 700 lineal metres of balustrade and handrail will get hot dip galvanised and installed very soon! Great progress from our Canberra Workshop so far, and the project team lead by ✌️⁠

☀️ the team enjoying the last of the afternoon sun during our Kingston Foreshore jetty install. Hot dip galvanised framing installed by boat on Lake Burley Griffin. The jetty added the finishing touch to Sapphire Apartments by BLOC.
