Job Title: Automotive Parts Interpreter
Job Type: Full Time

About Us:
DPM is fast becoming a leading automotive parts provider, committed to delivering top-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. With a strong reputation in the industry, we supply genuine and aftermarket parts for a wide range of makes and models. We are now seeking a skilled and motivated automotive parts interpreter to join our team.

Position Overview:
As an automotive parts interpreter, you will be responsible for assisting both retail customers and workshop technicians in accurately identifying, sourcing, and ordering automotive parts. Your role is critical in ensuring fast, efficient service and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist customers in person, over the phone, and via email to identify and order required parts
* Interpret parts catalogues and vehicle schematics to determine correct parts
* Advise customers and workshop staff on part compatibility and alternatives
* Order parts from suppliers and manage incoming stock
* Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels
* Process invoices, returns, and warranty claims
* Work closely with the workshop team to support efficient job turnaround
* Ensure parts area is organised, clean, and compliant with safety standards

Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Parts Interpreter in the automotive industry (dealership or aftermarket)
* Strong knowledge of automotive systems, makes, and models
* Familiarity with electronic parts catalogues and point-of-sale systems
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Current driver’s licence (manual preferred)
* Mechanical knowledge or trade background (advantageous but not essential)
