This is new addition to the TORTECH High Voltage test bay for use in 2023! It is a 150kv rms coupling capacitor/ capacitor decider. It is partial discharge free at 150kv and will be used to measure partial discharge up to 150kv on instrument transformers and power transformers. It will also measure HV voltages up to 150kv with an accuracy of 1%.

One of the biggest questions we get are how are your tansformers different from those on the market?
Tortech step down transformers are rated at a continuous rating.
The main difference with Tortech Transformer is that they are rated to run 24 Hours a day!
There is NO duty cycle – (a limit of where a transformer can maintain a rating for 1 hour).

Our Single to three Phase Converters have had numerous design enhancements:
1)New Input D curve Breaker on 240 Volts single phase – offering protection of the inductive circuit.
2) Improved electronic module with higher rated capacitors and bigger power rated controller with open box arrangement .
3) The new external boxes have an improved ventilation design, that allows for increased cooling and the Australian environment.
3) The air is fan forced across all components: transformer plus capacitors and switching triacs.
