We're Hiring - BOILERMAKER

Harris Engineering is looking for a qualified Boilermaker to join our team based at our Gracemere Workshop.

This position is a full-time position consisting of both workshop and site-based work.

About the role:
* 38 hour working week
* Overtime available when required
* Attractive local rate

What we are looking for:
* Fully qualified Boilermaker
* Reliable
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

🔧 WE’RE HIRING – PLANT FITTER🔧
📍 Join the team at Harris Engineering Services CQ

We’re on the lookout for an experienced Plant Fitter with abattoir or processing experience to join our growing crew.

The Role
You’ll play a key part in keeping operations running smoothly in our workshop located in Gracemere and on-site operations

Your day-to-day will include:
• Maintaining and repairing plant and mechanical equipment
• Troubleshooting and resolving breakdowns efficiently
• Supporting preventative maintenance and reliability initiatives
• Ensuring high standards of safety, hygiene, and operational performance

About You
• Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter (Cert III or equivalent)
• Experience in processing, manufacturing, or heavy industry (abattoir experience highly regarded)
• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding ability
• Able to work independently and within a team
• Committed to a safe and efficient workplace
