2015 Porsche Cayman Audio Overhaul! 🔊

Neil’s tidy Porsche 981 was in for a complete audio system upgrade, the base spec PCM3.1 amplified audio system was average at best for sound quality and volume… 😕

We installed Audison 8” woofers and Hertz 3” midrange speakers in the factory door locations using our 3D printed speaker spacers. The Audison Prima Power tweeters were a perfect fit in the factory dash location, using the included modular tweeter mounts for a perfect fit! 🪛

The rear was also upgraded with Audison 4” 2-way speakers and our 3D printed mounts for a snug - like OEM fit, while boosting tone and clarity to keep up with the roaring flat 6 engine in the back. 💥 🔊

To power the new speakers in the front as a 3-way active system, we installed the Musway D1S 4ch DSP amplifier to re-tune the signal from the factory system + power the new midrange and tweeters to bring warmth and brilliance to the system. 😮

The Musway P2 amplifier was also tucked away in the factory amplifier location to drive the new 8” woofers - providing clean controlled bass in the freshly sound deadened doors! 🔊 😮‍💨

LC200 HUGE Screen & Audio Upgrade 🖥️ 🔊

Kevin was in the market for a tech and audio package to enhance the driving experience in his 2020 LandCruiser 200 Series GXL 📲 🎶

We installed the Pioneer 10.1” touch screen with Wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto - seated perfectly on the dash using our custom ‘flush fit’ mounting solution directly behind the new display, for a seamless integrated look while retaining the OEM reverse camera and steering wheel controls, and adding a flush mount dual USB charge & data socket! 🪛 👌

The factory speakers are nothing to write home about, even with an upgraded head unit solution - Kevin was after something to give his music a little more finesse and clarity for long drives between Mackay and the Brisbane/Gold Coast region… 🛣️ 🎶

We installed the MUSWAY - D1S micro DSP Amp, with Class A/B 4 channel amplified output - and integrated 6 channel digital signal processor. This allowed us to run the new front speakers in an active configuration, with the Audison AP8 Prima 8” woofers in the front doors, and APX4 4” coaxial speakers in the dash - mounted perfectly with our 3D printed speaker and dash mounts! 😉 🔊

The rear speakers were also upgraded using our spacers and the Audison APX6.5 Prima 6.5” coaxial speakers - to provide amazing warmth and clarity throughout the whole vehicle. 😍 🎵

300 Series LandCruiser VX Audio Upgrade! 💪

Richard’s 2025 Toyota LC300 was in the shop recently for a substantial upgrade from the factory 10 speaker system, which was lacking overall volume, definition & top end clarity. 😕

We installed a complete Audison Prima speaker package with 4” coaxial speakers in the dash, 8” midbass woofers in the front doors, and 6.5” coaxial speakers in the rear doors to bring the sound stage to life and balance out the front-rear staging. This notably increased volume and clarity throughout the whole car! 🔊 😍

The front doors were fully sound deadened with STP black gold to tighten up the low frequency response, and reduce rattles from the new 8” woofers. Our 3D printed speaker adapters make for a very tidy install with foam rings to keep the sound clean & direct! 🪛 👌

The original 8” sub was removed to apply sound deadening to the outer body panel, and the Hertz Cento 12” Subwoofer was installed in a custom sealed enclosure. This provides deep-commanding bass while completely hidden! 🤩

The factory 8 channel amplifier doesn’t offer much grunt for the speakers, and the output signal cant be easily improved via common methods. The Musway M8 - 8 channel DSP amplifier was the perfect solution to provide bulk power, and run the new speakers & subwoofer partially active for a phenomenal increase in sound quality via precise tuning! 💻

The Musway DRC1 Controller was mounted on a custom 3D printed card slot blank, providing easy access to internal DSP settings such as subwoofer level and preset tune switching! 🎛️

Toyota LandCruiser HJ61 Sound & Safety Package! 🔊

Darren brought his classic 60 series Sahara GX to us for a complete audio upgrade, with some added safety tech to make cruising around and parking this epic old school rig a breeze. 😍

We installed a 7” mirror monitor system with HD front & rear parking cameras - providing a fantastic clear image all round for reversing, parking or manoeuvring! 📺

The sleek Kenwood multimedia head unit was an obvious choice to modernise the vehicle with high quality Bluetooth Streaming and Phone Calls, integrated USB, and AM/FM radio for alternate source options on or off road. 😎

We fully sound deadened the front doors in and out, and installed the Audison Prima 5.25” coaxial speakers for a huge upgrade in clarity, tone and bass in the front, while keeping the very tidy old school interior untouched! 🪛

The 3rd row speakers in the roof were also replaced with Hertz 3.5” coaxial speakers, which we mounted in our 3D printed adapters for a seamless upgrade - providing loud & clear sound throughout the cabin front to back. 🤩

To complete the audio package in Darren’s LandCruiser, an Audison 10” active subwoofer was installed behind the rear seats to give plenty of low end extension to the new sound system. The built in quick disconnect plug, and velcro padded feet make this box a secure fit, whilst remaining simple to relocate or remove if additional space is required in the back! 🔊

2025 Foton Tunland V7 Stereo Upgrade 🔊

Matt brought his brand new Foton V7-C to us for a complete package to replace the standard (and very dull) speaker system. 😣

We fully treated all 4 doors with STP Black Silver deadening material to kill road noise, rattles & drone inside the car - this also enhances the frequency response, tone & volume output of the new speaker system! 🎶

Our team designed and 3D printed a complete set of speaker spacers same day to install the PHD Audio CF Line 6.5” component speakers in the front, and coaxial speakers in the rear. 🇦🇺 🇮🇹 🤝

The new PHD 1” tweeters were mounted behind the factory grilles, which provided an amazing lift in clarity and volume up front, whilst keeping the interior trims looking original in this brand new Ute! 🤩

STP Aerocell Intrigo deadening was applied to the rear wall to reduce vibrations & rattles, and a custom mounting panel was fixed in place behind the back seat. We then installed the MUSWAY 6.5” Underseat subwoofer to produce clean-punchy bass, completing Matt’s sound system with epic sound all round! 🔊

2025 Silverado Z71 Sound System Install! 🔊

This HUGE Chevy Silverado 2500HD was brought to the GCCS team to completely upgrade & replace the factory sound system, Bose generally makes great headphones and soundbars - but their ‘premium’ audio in cars often lacks dynamics and clarity due to average quality speakers and tuning, which leaves a lot to be desired by those who appreciate high quality audio. 😩

We completely bypassed the factory amplifier with a PAC AmpPRO interface, allowing pure - unfiltered audio to be passed from the factory infotainment system, directly to the new DSP amplifier via Toslink optical audio input! 🤓

Audison’s new Voce II 6.5” speakers were this clients pick to bring crystal clear audio with defined midrange tone, and strong midbass presence - with all 4 doors fully sound deadened inside and out using STP Black Gold & Sonora materials. The Voce II 10” subwoofer enclosure rounds out the low end from under the back seat, providing a refined & exciting bass ‘kick’ to enhance musical feel and give depth to the stunning new audio system. 😍

Taking complete control of the new speakers & subwoofer, the MUSWAY M6 PRO 6ch DSP amplifier & ONE.1000 mono amplifier, provide ample power & dynamics - with precise tuning via the M6’s integrated 10ch Digital Sound Processor! 💻🎚️🎛️

Our sales team designed and 3D printed a custom centre console mount for the myCON DSP controller, allowing seamless operation whilst on the road. This elegant & intuitive interface gives full control of various DSP settings and functions, such as Subwoofer volume & switching of our custom tuned presets. 😎 👌
