My RG500 is finally finished. I had to cheat with this one and send it of to get most of it restored and put back together because of time restraints running the Mr-Restore business. He did a great job and it looks as new.

Finally!!! I restart the rebuild of the two Suzuki RG500s. Buying and setting up mr-restore.com.au has taken up every spare minute and now I need to spend some time on my restorations. Its great to get back into the part I enjoy most :-)

My latest build. A 1995 Triumph Speed Triple Cafe Racer. It only took about 20 hours work as “most” cafe parts were from CRK kits in the UK just a few additions and tweaks from me. Will eventually swap out front end with upside down forks and Brembo’s but just enjoying it as it is at moment. Nice to have an unusual machine for once 🙂

The two Suzuki RG500 frames and swings arms return from vapour blasting and clear coating. An expensive exercise but well worth it as they look outstanding.
Looking forward to putting some bits back on them !!

Next project being wheeled onto the operating table. The renowned lethal weapon of two strokes a 1985 RG500. There’s a bit of work to do with a few standard parts missing. But I like a challenge!! Watch this space...

Total restoration of an old Yamaha thumper.
Again this one was in a right old state. Non runner and hadn't been for many years. Wiring was totally shot so all replaced and also all the ignition system replaced with CDI.
Sorry XT purists I replaced the old front end with one off a Kawasaki KLX650 mainly because I wanted to do something a bit different on this restore, but I have kept all the original parts so I can always revert back to standard if I like.
