Restart a Heart Day (Thursday 16 October 2025) is about raising awareness of CPR and defibrillators — two simple actions that can double or even triple someone’s chance of survival after a sudden cardiac arrest.
Every year, thousands of Australians suffer a cardiac arrest — most often at home and in front of family or friends. Knowing what to do in those first few minutes can make all the difference.
This day is about giving everyday Queenslanders the confidence to step in and save a life.
