Last week we were proud to support the Women Who Weld & Code program alongside Jodie Luce from the QLD Manufacturing Hub Manufacturing Queensland and Erin and Levi from the Queensland Manufacturing Institute.

We welcomed students from Calliope SHS and Gladstone SHS into our workshop for an industry tour and a look at how CNC technology drives modern manufacturing. Students explored our 3 and 5 axis mills, manual and automatic lathes, and saw how machining integrates with our fabrication projects.

A standout moment was hearing from Heather, our 2nd year Apprentice Machinist, who shared her pathway into the trade and connected brilliantly with the students. Inspiring future talent is something we’re always proud to be part of.
