⚠️ PRODUCT SAFETY RECALL – MAKITA DGP180ZBK 18V GREASE GUN ⚠️

Makita Australia has issued a safety recall for the following products:

🔹 Makita DGP180ZBK 18V Grease Gun with 1200mm flexible hose
🔹 600mm & 1200mm flexible hose accessories for the Makita DGP180ZBK

📅 Affected products were sold between 25 February 2021 and 30 April 2025.

❗ Why is the product being recalled?
Repeated bending of the hose tip can cause a hole to form, which may result in the hose bursting during use.

⚠️ Hazard:
A burst hose may cause serious injuries, including lacerations. Injury incidents have been reported.

If you own one of these products:
1️⃣ Stop using the grease gun immediately.
2️⃣ Remove the battery and any grease from the barrel.
3️⃣ Contact Makita Australia on 1300 361 690 or visit Makita's recall page.
4️⃣ Makita will arrange for your grease gun to be fitted with a new hose.
