We were honoured to welcome Colin Brooks MP Minister for Industry and Advanced Manufacturing, and Ella George MP Member for Lara, to our Victorian steel manufacturing facility this week.👷‍♂️🏭

It was a great opportunity to showcase our advanced steel fabrication operations, our team, and the role local manufacturing plays in supporting jobs and infrastructure across the state.

Proud to support the 34th e&s Golf Classic with Give Where You Live Foundation ⛳

More than 130 golfers and 40 local businesses came together at this sold-out event, which raises vital funds each year to support people and families across the Geelong region.

Alongside having four of our team take part, we were pleased to contribute as a golf cart sponsor, helping create positive outcomes for the community we live and work in.

👏 Well done to Kristian, Jack, Justin and Ryan, who finished the day as runners up.

Great to see our high performing team representing Hanlon on and off the course.

Albert, a Master for Construction Management student from Deakin University, recently completed his internship with Hanlon. He says: “I was welcomed by the team, trusted with major project tasks and supported at every step. I’m leaving with new skills and an even bigger enthusiasm for construction.”

Exciting progress happening at Hanlon Industries!

We’ve been proud to be playing a key role in the construction of - Geelong Convention and Event Centre since the beginning.

Currently in our workshop, we have the feature stair structure—an impressive 15.7-tonne steel masterpiece.

Last night, Hanlon Industries was named Company of the Year at the 2024 Weld Australia Welding Excellence Awards!

We also took home not one, but two Young Tradesperson of the Year awards!

A huge congratulations to our talented apprentices, Iesha and Ned! This achievement highlights your skills, dedication, and passion for the trade – and we couldn’t be more thrilled to see you recognised for it.
These awards also shine a light on our incredible workshop leadership team, who are passionate about supporting the next generation of tradespeople and fostering a culture of diversity in our teams.

To be recognised as Company of the Year is an honour and a testament to our team’s ongoing commitment to quality, innovation, and excellence in welding and fabrication.
