Recently, we were called to a job involving a slipping reluctor wheel on a camshaft, apparently a common problem even if the cam was replaced with a new one. A couple of cheeky TIG welds with minimal heat to lock it into position was the fix. Not ideal, welding onto a cam, but being as their press fit with no key to lock it into position, it's about all you can do.

Yesterday, we were called out to a broken rocker cover bolt that had been partially drilled out, with a snapped drill bit stuck in it. Not too much trouble for us though! We removed the broken drill bit, extracted the remaining bolt, and fitted an oversize thread insert. Job done 👍
