MECHANICAL FITTER – TRUCK BODY BUILDS
📍 Minto, NSW
Transpave is a cutting-edge Australian OEM designing and manufacturing advanced road maintenance equipment used by councils and major contractors across Australia.
We’re growing and are looking for an experienced mechanical fitter with truck body building or heavy vehicle experience to join our workshop team in Minto.
The role covers OEM builds, upgrades, and service work across our equipment range.
What you’ll be doing:
• Pre-fitting and fitting sub-assemblies into trucks
• Hydraulic and air line fitment
• Installing valves, cylinders, and hoses
• Mounting equipment to truck bodies
• General mechanical assembly and fault-finding
What you’ll need:
• Proven heavy vehicle or truck body experience
• Solid hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge
• Ability to read drawings and work to a high standard
Bonus (not essential):
• Trade qualification
• HR / MR licence
• Fabrication or welding exposure
