When it rains, it pours! 🌧️
We recorded 120mm today, (May 26) and the creek is already flooded! It’s the best fall of rain we’ve had since September last year at Roseville Park near Dubbo NSW
Even better, there’s good follow-up rain predicted and we had 40 ml a couple of weeks ago. We were on track with our cropping program luckily and have also planted pastures and Brassicas in front of this last rain.

Split into under 15 years old and over 15-25 years old, the judges competed in the Merino and meat breeds judging as well as the young handlers competition. An old tradition that still works today. Dotting our AI-born lambs before the backup lambs arrive in 2–4 days across our 1,750 AI ewes. The blue dot makes it easy to identify the AI lambs at tagging and marking, and it will naturally disappear in around 3 months. 💙🐑

A couple of big days in the yards.
We’ve now collected 900 tissue samples for genomic analysis using 56K SNP testing, alongside individual worm egg count samples. Current ram averages are sitting at 400 eggs per gram, giving us valuable data to support breeding decisions focused on performance, resilience, and long-term flock improvement for worm resistance.
The power of genetics and measured data continues to drive better outcomes on-farm and in our clients paddocks.
