In Dorrigo Hardware a tarp I did find,
Rodney being absent, no help of any kind.
He was out checking cafes and The Dorrigo Deli,
Maybe he needed some food for his belly.
It may be a good plan as the weather takes hold,
Rain and cold wind on the way we are told.
Let’s hope the powers are wrong this time,
Not torrential rain, some sun would be fine!
We’re all a bit over this wetness lark,
Not much fun, for a walk in the park,
Or anywhere really unless you’re a duck,
Or a rooster like Rodney, cluck, cluck, cluck!
