Electrical Apprenticeship Applicatications are now open.

Delta Hydraulics is currently seeking highly motivated school leavers who are looking to undertake an Australian Apprenticeship as an Electrician.
Over a 4 year period, you will complete an apprenticeship and you will obtain a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician

You will have no student loans and you will earn while you learn.
Selection Criteria:
• Completion of year 10 at a minimum with sound achievement in Math’s and English.
• Successful completion of a trade related aptitude test.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Genuine interest in pursuing a career in the electrical trade, through work experience or studies in this field.
• Completion of Cert ll in Electrotechnology would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Neat and tidy personal presentation.
• The ability to work as part of a team as well as individually.
• Ability to follow instructions
• Adhere to all OHS standards

Fitter Machinist Trades person
Delta Hydraulics is a world leader in the design and manufacture Hydraulics Cylinders and components. We currently have an opportunity available for Fitting & Machining Trades people to join our Manufacturing team.
Duties:
•Studying drawings and specifications to determine suitable material, method and sequence of operations, and machine settings
•Fitting fabricated metal parts into products and assembling metal parts and sub-assemblies to produce machines and equipment
•Checking fabricated and assembled metal parts for accuracy, clearance and fit using precision measuring instruments
•Setting guides, stops and other controls on machining tools.
•Forming metal stock and castings to fine tolerances using machining tools to press, cut, grind, plane, bore and drill metal
•Cutting, threading, bending and installing hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines
•Diagnosing faults and performing operational maintenance of machines, and overhauling and repairing mechanical parts and fluid power equipment
• Forklift licence desirable but not essential
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
• Adhere to required OHS standards
• Pass a full medical.
Pay and conditions will be as per the Delta Hydraulics Pty Ltd Employee Collective Agreement
