Good advice. Get educated! Get a Tag extreme recovery tow bar from TJM Hobart. The life of your car depends on you! (And maybe even your own life) Don’t be foolish. Get the right gear!

A Tow Ball is not to be used for a recovery. In fact a tow hitch should not be used for a recovery. I’ve covered this subject many times on the main MadMates channel. (Was MadMatt 4wd). A tow hitch often fails at the weld especially if there’s corrosion in the root of the weld. Also performing recoveries in reverse is only to be done if you absolutely have to. Stay safe and be educated. Oh and it’s called a Sn**ch strap or Kinetic recovery Strap. Matt
