It’s been a quiet year on this page, and we owe you a quick update!
We’ve been navigating some health issues in the family recently that required taking time out to recover. While being forced to slow down wasn't ideal, it opened a door for us. It gave us the push we needed to finally give Affordable Machinery our full attention and take the business to the next level.
Since establishing the business in 2022, it has been a massive learning curve navigating the market, testing gear, and ensuring we only supply products we can confidently support. Now, we’ve officially traded the home-based setup for a proper retail shopfront!
We aren't salespeople pushing a catalogue of gear we’ve never touched. Our business model is simple: we take on the risk and responsibility of importing, so you don't have to. Unlike operators who make you wait for a shipping container to fill up, our machines are sitting right here. We use this gear ourselves, customize it for Tassie conditions, and meticulously prep every machine before it leaves the shop. If a machine isn't the right fit for the job you have planned, we’ll shoot straight and tell you.
We do everything possible to maintain stock or have demos available. However, with shipping delays and eager buyers, there may sometimes be a wait. But right now, we are well-stocked with our AM20 Excavators, loading ramps, and one remaining AM-25T Commercial Log Splitter.
The AM20 Package ($35k inc. GST) is built to be a reliable alternative to the expensive brand-name machines. It comes fully loaded with a genuine Kubota engine, Bosch Rexroth load-sensing hydraulics, expanding tracks, a swing boom, and a dedicated hi-flow auxiliary connection. Plus, it includes a Quick Hitch, Ripper, 3x Buckets, and a Hydraulic Thumb. Those attachments alone would set you back thousands elsewhere, and the thumb is usually a $4k option on big brands!
