Ready to go and heading out soon.

This white Mercedes tipper for Select Trucks is just about wrapped up and will be hitting the yard shortly. Built in-house at our Dandenong South workshop, it’s a clean, practical setup designed to perform from day one.

Fitted with 450 grade wear plate walls and floor, this one is built for serious durability. Hydraulics are in, body is fully operational and the paint has been matched to the cab for a clean, consistent finish.

It’s also been set up for dog trailer work, with a full towing package including J4 certified Landy Tow coupling, ABS and trailer supply. On top of that, it features a camera protection cover, making it easier to monitor loads on site without leaving the cab.

Final touches and it’s ready to roll.

Another one ready to roll out.

This Kenworth tipper build has been completed for one of our long-time customers, CTR Truck Sales, and is heading out to a special customer.

Built on a shorter wheelbase, this setup features a 4400mm body with 1100mm high sides, keeping it compact while still delivering the performance needed on site. The angled top rails have been added to help reduce dirt build-up and keep the body cleaner over time.

It also includes a custom in-house battery box and a full towing setup with Bartlett ball, trailer supply and ABS, making it ready to get straight to work.

Final touches like stainless guards and chrome will be added by the owner, and once it’s all finished off, you’ll be sure to spot this rig out on the road.

There’s a big difference between a build that’s pieced together and one that’s built entirely in-house.

At AA Diesel Truck Bodies, everything from design and engineering through to fabrication and fit-out is handled under one roof. That means better quality control, better communication and a cleaner, more consistent result.

Most people never see this part of the build, but it has a big impact on the end result.

We’ve had a few guesses on the video, so here’s the answer.

This is our 3-axle trailer chassis jig, and it’s one of the tools that helps us deliver both speed and accuracy in the workshop.

By rotating the chassis as we weld, we keep everything in the ideal position for consistent horizontal welds. That means better weld quality, a straighter chassis and a more reliable finish overall.

It also helps us move efficiently. In some cases, we can take a chassis from start to finish in two days, sometimes less, without compromising on quality.

It’s a good example of how the right systems and the right tools make a real difference.

This custom tipper for CMI Hino, finished in a sharp blue for Flinstone Landscaping, has been designed from the ground up to suit exactly how the client works. From our standard body upwards, this one has essentially been developed in-house, with extended sides and unique rails all fabricated and bent by our team to create a setup that fits the job perfectly.

Every detail has been tailored to the client’s requirements, resulting in a build that’s as functional as it is eye-catching.

The paint is another standout, with the body colour scanned and matched perfectly to the cab, thanks to our friends at . Always appreciate the support.
