The 2026 Baking Industry Trade Showhosted by the Baking Association of Australia is on from 16โ€“18 June at the Gold Coast Turf Club, and the Vanrooy Machinery team will be there with a full stand, live equipment demos, and plenty to see (and taste!)

We've also teamed up with Laucke Flour, Bega Food Service, Leo Coco, and Vegemite to put together some free recipe cards you can take home, so you can leave with practical inspiration straight from our stand, all the way to your bakery.

Here at Vanrooy Machinery, we're proud to use our platform to shine a light on causes that matter, and Baking For Brain Cancer is one we think deserves as much attention as possible.

Brain cancer is the leading cancer killer of children in Australia, and more people under 40 die from it than any other cancer. Despite this, survival rates haven't improved in 30 years, with researchers constantly struggling for the funding needed to change that.

Supported by the Baking Association of Australia, Baking for Brain Cancer is a nationwide fundraiser on May 30, 2026, where bakeries across Australia nominate special items - your meat pie, your vanilla slice, your loaf of bread - and donate the proceeds directly to brain cancer research through The Brain Cancer Centre.

It was started by a Victorian family who know this disease first-hand, and it's grown into something truly special.

We'd encourage anyone reading this to get involved, whether that's visiting a participating bakery on May 30, donating directly, or simply sharing this post to spread the word.
