Keeping production moving means making waste handling easier, too.

These bottom-discharge bins were fabricated by Jones Engineering for a roof tile manufacturer to collect rejected tiles and production waste.

Internal breaker bars help break up tiles as they enter the bins. Once full, the bins can be moved by forklift and emptied through the bottom, streamlining waste removal and supporting a smoother production flow.

Another hopper modification completed by the Jones Engineering team in our Dandenong workshop.

The focus was on improving both accessibility and functionality while keeping disruption to the manufacturer’s operations to a minimum.

Here’s what we delivered:

Improved access: Modified access door for easier inspection and maintenance.

Better visibility: Added a viewing window to allow operators to monitor material levels inside the hopper at all times.

Production efficiency: Improved visibility and accessibility to support smoother production flow.

Minimal disruption: Our team collected the hopper, completed the modifications in our workshop and delivered it back to site.

Less hassle for the customer, more efficiency on the production floor.
