This month, we had the pleasure of presenting Declan with his $25,000 Apprenticeship Incentive Scheme cheque 👏 🔥

After completing his Moulding Apprenticeship over 4 years, followed by 2 years working in his trade, this is a huge achievement and a credit to the hard work he’s put in along the way.

In the photo, Declan is surrounded by his Moulding team, the crew who’ve supported, guided and backed him throughout his journey. A great reflection of the team culture behind the scenes.

Today we recognise and celebrate the women who are part of the White Industries team. From apprentices beginning their careers to experienced professionals across our business, their contribution plays an important role in the continued success of our company and the future of our industry.

The manufacturing industry, including foundry operations, has traditionally been male dominated, so it is encouraging to see more women stepping into these roles and building strong careers.

Last week, 20 of our team members from White Industries attended Lean Boot Camp training delivered by The Industry Group. What a great experience it was!

Lean manufacturing helps strengthen culture and improve the way we work by empowering people, improving processes and encouraging problem-solving at the source.

We are continuing our journey to enhance our Lean Manufacturing Program already in place, with Continuous Improvement a key focus for our business.

A big thank you to our employees who participated and brought such great energy and engagement to the sessions. This is how real change happens. 👏

This week was National Apprenticeship Week and we made sure to celebrate the right way with a well-earned smoko for our apprentices.

It was a great chance to recognise the effort our apprentices put in every day as they learn the trade, build their skills and become a key part of our future. From early starts to getting stuck into the hard work on site, their commitment and attitude never go unnoticed.

We’re proud to support and invest in the next generation of trades and can’t wait to see where their careers take them.

Today we celebrated the retirement of Justine after twelve and a half years with White Industries.

As our CFO, she has been a trusted leader and steady presence, helping to shape the values and direction that define our business today. Her dedication and contribution have left a lasting mark that will be felt for years to come.

We are incredibly grateful and wish her a happy and well-deserved retirement.

We’re showcasing a range of cast metal solutions, including couplers, knuckles, yokes, centre plates, axle boxes, brake discs and drawgear components. All are produced in Queensland and backed by our long-standing commitment to quality, reliability and local supply.

Last Friday we proudly attended the Darling Downs Power Station Dalby Career & Jobs Expo, held at the PCYC Dalby.

A big thank you to the Dalby Chamber of Commerce for organising such a valuable event that connects local businesses with the next generation of workers.

Representing us on the day were Ron Poole, our Beforecast Supervisor, and Matthew Dunford, our Casting Simulation Specialist. They had some great conversations with students and job seekers, sharing insights into the industry and exploring the career opportunities that we have on offer.

We also brought along one of our 3D printers, which was a hit with attendees and gave a hands-on glimpse into some of the exciting technology we use. As the industry continues to evolve, innovations like 3D printing are becoming increasingly important, helping us improve efficiency, accuracy and design flexibility in ways that weren’t possible before.

It was inspiring to see so many young people eager to learn and plan their futures and we’re proud to be part of that journey.
