We are currently seeking people to join our assembly and commissioning team on a full-time basis in the assembly of mobile equipment.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVLOVE?

Assembling of new truck mounted mobile cranes to sales specifications.
Assembling of mechanical and structural items such as:
• Crane Boom Sections.
• Crane Turret Assemblies.
• Crane Subframes.
• Outrigger Leg Assemblies.
• All related Subassemblies.
• In House Training will be provided.

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.

Experience within the automotive or heavy vehicle industry.
Ideally (But not limited to) Mechanical trade qualified in one of the following disciplines.
• Automotive Mechanical.
• Fitter and turner.
• Previous experience in the assembly of mobile equipment
• (Highly regarded) or experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work as part of a team to achieve deadlines.
• Working in with hydraulic fitting team members.
• The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Must have own basic hand tools.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Current forklift licence is an advantage.
• Current Driver’s License

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently seeking Mechanical Fitters on a full-time basis to complement our team, located in Coolum Beach Industrial Eco Park on the Sunshine Coast for the purpose of assembling new Cranes as well as rebuilding cranes.
We are looking for positive and flexible individuals that are willing to learn on the job and have a strong work ethic. You need to have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment.
On the job guidance and training will be made available to ensure that the successful applicants can transition into their new role effectively.
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Assembling of new mobile cranes to sales specifications.
• All fitting works associated with Major Inspections IE: Rebuilds.
• All fitting works associated with the disassembly of Cranes.
• Assessment of componentry.
• Support with specific duties related to component repairs required.
• Rebuilding of components.
• All fitting work associated with Reassembly of cranes.
• Duties related to final Commissioning processes.
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES.
• Mechanical trade qualifications.
• High attention to detail.
• Experience within the heavy vehicle industry.
• General knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Good health and Safety Practices.
• The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Good time management and work ethic.
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Current fork lift licence is an advantage.
