Location: Otways & Heytesbury Regions
Work Type: Seasonal (with potential for ongoing work)

BME Co are currently seeking experienced all-round operators to join our team for upcoming forestry and land-prep operations.

We’re looking for motivated people who can work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on quality work and problem-solving in the field.

Ideal skills & experience:
✅ Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
✅ Skidder or Excavator operating experience
✅ Tractor operation with GPS guidance (Savannah plow or similar)
✅ Strong attention to safety and equipment care
✅ Reliable, self-motivated and willing to learn

Another big job wrapped up — 147.5 ha completed and looking great.
Our CAT 535B Skidder teamed up with the chopper roller to deliver an outstanding finish across the block.

We've finished another land preparation job in the Otways, trying out new techniques for the future. The old-school method of stick raking (windrows) combined with skidder-chopper rollering has proven effective. I think this method has a big future ahead with some adjustments.
