Customer Service & Administration
Bananacoast Power Tools – Coffs Harbour
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and organised person to join our team at Bananacoast Power Tools.
We’re a locally owned family business that has been servicing the Coffs Coast for almost 40 years. We work closely with local tradespeople and businesses, supplying trade equipment, accessories and consumables, as well as operating a busy workshop servicing and repairing a wide range of equipment.
This is a varied role where no two days are exactly the same.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Serving customers at the counter
- Answering incoming phone calls and customer enquiries
- Booking equipment into our workshop for repairs and servicing
- Data entry and entering stock into our system
- Processing sales and general point-of-sale duties
- Assisting with stock receipting and ordering
- General administration and keeping customer and stock information up to date
- Working with the rest of our team to keep the shop and workshop running smoothly
What we're looking for:
You don't need to be a power tool expert.
We're more interested in finding someone who is:
- Friendly and confident dealing with customers
- Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
- Accurate with data entry and paperwork
- Organised and able to handle several things at once
- Reliable and willing to work as part of a small team
- Comfortable answering phones and dealing with customers face-to-face
- Willing to learn about the products and services we offer
Previous experience with MYOB would be an advantage, but it is not essential — we're happy to teach the right person.
Experience in retail, customer service, administration, trade supply or a similar environment would also be beneficial.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone with the right attitude who wants to become a valued part of our team.
