Whether onsite at Lindsay Meyers, over the phone, or out on the road, chances are you’ve met our Sales Manager Ernie. With over 45 years in timber manufacturing and related industries, he brings a huge amount of knowledge to the table, along with experience across procurement, operations, costings, sales, and management.

Ernie’s been with us for the past 2.5 years and is known not just for getting things sorted, but for being easy to deal with, always up for a chat, and bringing a good sense of humour to the day.

His approach is simple: “Find every reason to say yes.” It’s something our customers and suppliers have come to rely on.

Originally from Zimbabwe, Ernie moved to Australia in 2007 and recently became an Australian citizen, a great milestone to celebrate!

If you’ve worked with him, you’ll know he’s all about finding a practical way forward and getting things sorted without the fuss.

This project features 128 × 19 Blackbutt Shiplap wall cladding, originally supplied by Pentarch / Boral, then end matched by Lindsay Meyers before being coated at ADM Coatings with WOCA exterior oil. The result is a refined, continuous timber finish that elevates both the interior and exterior spaces shown here.

Our end matching service allows boards to join seamlessly end-to-end, supporting cleaner lines, consistent detailing and efficient installation — particularly important for large-scale architectural cladding where alignment and finish matter.
