Tax time has a way of sneaking up, and it's easy to lose your bearings when it does. (pun intended)

Lucky we've got a shelf or ten full. If you've got a bearing acting up, a hose that's seen better days, or parts you keep meaning to grab, sort it at CHBS before 30 June.

The mornings have turned 🥶

Your woodpile hasn't grown itself, and the chainsaw that did all the work last winter has been sitting in the shed ever since. Well, you may be keen to learn that the saw chain hasn't got any sharper in there.

A dull chain doesn't just cut slower. It loads up the bar, works the motor harder than it should, and turns a half-hour job into an afternoon. Most chainsaws that come in "not running right" are really just running blunt.

So, before your first serious wood-cutting adventure, get your chainsaw's bar and chain sorted. We stock chains, bars and bar oil, and if you're not sure what gauge you're after, bring the saw in, and we'll match it.
