An update on the developments on the straight cut, short ratio, R154 gear sets we have been testing.
We have installed quite a few for testing recently which have all yielded positive results .
They have been installed in cars with power figures between 300-400kw, which have been used in both drift and street applications.
Yesterday I tore one down to see how things look inside and well not a single issue.
To add to further testing, the one displayed in the pictures is a jzx110 gearbox sporting a complete set 1-5 straight cut and short ratio. A note worthy difference this time is the material
We have opted to upgrade the material to 4320 instead of the 8620 which we have previously used.
Next on the list is developed these kits to work with early model R series boxes
