Port Ash Australia recently finished a major refit of their large azipod manned ship model; and we were tasked with a complete re-design of the control hardware including the thruster controls. From 3D concept to completed and functional controllers. We also completed various control and electronic components as part of the refit.

It's easy to forget about our batteries when they're down in the engine room out of sight; but it's critically important to keep up with inspection and maintenance procedures especially in multi-battery arrays.

Differences in resistance as connections age and corrode can cause unequal charging, at best resulting in shortened battery life, and at worst complete battery failure, leaks and fire.

RZT can advise, set up and install the correct battery and charging systems for your camper, off grid installation or boat; from a fishing rig to a manned ship model.

Measurement, modelling and drawing of components is all a part of the process.
These thruster lower housings; beautifully machined by WPG Toolmaking in Heatherbrae, have now been modelled in 3D and had 2D manufacturing drawings produced for the customer's records.
