UPDATE: unauthorised entry this morning at 6am various items removed that were not paid for!

An individual visited Childers Auto at approximately 11:50pm after hours last night. Our security system includes video surveillance, reinforced doors and locks, and there is no cash left on premises. This after-hours visit has been reported to police.

Childers Auto Spares will be closed from Saturday 21 March reopen Monday 30th, refreshed and recharged to help with the Easter long weekend 🐣

The team is heading off for some scheduled maintenance, a recharge, a quick pit stop, and a system reset! 🔧😅

Make sure you grab any parts, oils, batteries, wipers, or anything you need before we close so you’re not caught out while we’re away. 🚗

🕗 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM - Monday to Friday

Hi Childers Auto Spares are seeking a reliable and experienced Spare Parts Interpreter to join our team on a casual basis.
What we’re looking for:
• ✅ Proven experience as a spare parts interpreter
• 💻 Confident using computers and POS systems
• 🚙 Strong knowledge of current vehicles and parts
• 📅 Flexible 6-day roster – we’re happy to work around another job or planned commitments, as this is a casual role.

Childers Auto is looking for a new team member. Hours are flexible/casual. Would suit someone semi retired or looking for casual work.

Roles and responsibilities

Your main role will be in customer service

-Identify parts and generating sales through the use of a variety of computer based programs.
-All other aspects of retail staff operations including the receipt of stock and assisting with stocking shelves.
-Skills and experience with automotive parts/industry/customer service advantageous.
-May be required to work alone/unsupervised for short periods

A high level of customer service skills and strong work ethic a must.

Please note our Childers Auto is classed as essential... therefore vaccination status does not determine entry. I.e. both vaxxed and unvaxxed are able to attend.

We will be following the rules for business and hygiene practices therefore masks will be required within the shop to protect our staff and each other, 🚥(unless you have exemption etc) to minimise risks as suggested

We are working independently on a rotational shift so we can continue to provide services into the future and avoid closures so if we are a bit busy leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
