Gorgeous B9 Q5 in for a ZF8 transmission service.

It's clear they are trolling us all on this one with the transmission oil pan access aren't they?

Audi want to fill these for life but ZF recommend servicing? Who would you trust? Not a cheap service but it's not a cheap transmission either! If you have travelled 80 - 120k kms it's definitely something to consider.

Interestingly these transmissions have the strainer actually integrated into the plastic pan. So a proper service involves a new plastic pan. Not just a drain/refill.

When that shiny Mk7 wagon you recently purchased from a used car dealer passed a roady, has virtually brand new rotors but the rear pads are within a bees dick of being metal on metal. Thankfully caught in time before the rotors needed replacing as well! Sorted with a shiny new set of ATE pads.

Recently we had the privilege of supplying & Installing the new CTS TurboS B9 High Flow catalytic converter and a matching IE Stage 2 ECU and TCU tune on an absolutely stunning A4 Quattro
As usual. Fitment was flawless and performance silky smooth. It still amazes us how well these things respond to a tune for what is not a small car.

The early MK5 Golfs would have to be the most haunted VW VAG cars in modern history. Just this one alone. Intermittent Driver seat Airbag faults, ABS faults, rear wiper/fog light/boot release not working, door wiring faults, door locks intermittently stuck, a sunroof that opens and closes its self whenever it feels like it.
Having said that they're all reasonably straight forward repairs and these things still have to be one of the most enjoyable daily drivers to punt about town in! It sure is a love/hate relationship. If you know, you know.

Starting with a 3.5" Intake system sure to give you all the whooshy noises your heart desires. We also have an excellent turbo inlet pipe available. Quality is on a par if not better than many of the big names at half the price. Limited stock available. Get in quick if you wanted one this year.
