That's Queensland Mining & Engineering Exhibition (QME) done.

Thanks to everyone who stopped at Booth A919, picked up the tools and told us what's actually giving you grief on site. The conversations were the best part of the week and a few of them have already given us new ideas on how we can expand our range to help deliver ELW across more maintenance tasks.

Here's a look at the latest custom ELW kit we built for one of our customers.

The ELW0043-H Brake Disc Check Kit keeps technicians out of the machine footprint during brake disc inspections on heavy mobile plant, capturing accurate deflection data to stay ahead of wear before it becomes an unplanned failure.

The kit includes a BlueDial-LT 302 mounted to a collapsible carbon fibre tube, approximately 30mm in diameter and 1200mm in length, along with a LiveTest iPad for real-time data display and logging throughout the inspection.

Brake disc wear on heavy mobile plant can sneak under the radar. A customised ELW kit turns a high-risk manual inspection into a safe, repeatable preventive maintenance process.

The LiveTest team caught up with HNA Group and went to visit one of our long-standing kit customers.

The most recent addition to the site is the ELW0041 Clutch Test Kit, built for transmission testing with 11 transducers fitted with custom-made sleeves labelled to each pressure port. Transducer names are locked to each unit, keeping readings accurate and eliminating misidentification during testing.

Applying ELW in this environment keeps operators away from live, pressurised systems while delivering faster, more reliable diagnostics and a technician that stays out of the line of fire throughout.
