Festival portaloo hire in Brisbane, from $88 inc. GST per unit plus $154 delivery, four-day minimum. Extra days are $27.50 a day.

Running a market or a multi-day festival this spring? Two things to sort early: how many units for your crowd, and who services them mid-event.

A one-day market can get away with a couple of units. A multi-day festival cannot, because a portaloo that is not pumped out between days is the thing every attendee remembers. On multi-day hires we service mid-event, so day three is as fresh as day one.

Booking more than one unit for the same site? We take 20% off each additional portaloo. And if you are planning five units or more, get in six to eight weeks ahead so the fleet is locked for your dates.

If you run a stall rather than the event, forward this to whoever does.

Family-run since 1960.

Cheers, Doug

Every temporary power pole in Brisbane needs an Electrical Work Request lodged with Energex before the power goes on. We lodge it for you.

The EWR is the form that gets your site's connection and meter install into Energex's queue. Lodge it late, or lodge it wrong, and your build sits there with a pole up and nothing coming out of it. It is the step builders lose a week on, chasing paperwork between a pole supplier, a sparky and the network.

With us it is one call. We install the pole, anchored with three metal stays, we lodge the EWR ourselves, and we hand you the EWR number so the meter install can be scheduled. You chase nobody.

Same published price as always: a 63A stayed site pole is $600 ex GST for the 12-week minimum, plus $350 ex GST standard-zone delivery.

That closes the series. Part one, what it costs. Part two, how fast it happens. Part three, the paperwork nobody explains.

Poles and Holes has been running since 1960. Three generations of the same family, same part of Brisbane, same handshake deal.

I am Doug, and I am the one you are dealing with. Not a call centre, not a franchise. You ring the number, I answer it or Charles does.

We started with poles and holes. Literally: power poles and the holes they go in. The portaloos, the cameras and the Energex paperwork came later, but the job is still the same: get the gear to your site, set it up properly, and be there when you need us.

HIA member for over 15 years. Proud supplier to the Australian Red Cross Lifeblood Foundation. 4.9 stars across 90+ Google reviews.

If you have worked with us before, thanks. If you have not, give us a go.

Cheers, Doug

Event portaloo hire in Brisbane. Booking more than one unit for the same venue? We take 20% off each additional portaloo delivered to the same site.

That is not just the second unit. Every portaloo after the first gets the discount. Three units for a fete means two discounts. Four for a race day means three. The more you book, the further the price drops.

Each event portaloo starts at $88 inc. GST plus $154 delivery, four-day minimum hire. Our event fleet is a dedicated line: every unit is cleaned to event standard and has never been on a construction site.

Whether you are running a school fete, a market day, a community fun run or a corporate outdoor event, the calculator in our bio tells you how many you need for your headcount. Worth doing now rather than the week before.

Family-run since 1960.

Construction portaloo hire in Brisbane. A builders portaloo costs $210 ex GST for the four-week minimum hire, plus $140 ex GST standard-zone delivery. Fortnightly servicing is included in that price, not bolted on after.

What "servicing included" means: a vacuum truck visits your site every two weeks, pumps and sanitises the unit. If you are running a big crew and need it weekly, we step up the schedule.

After the four-week minimum, ongoing hire is $7.50 per day billed monthly. Extensions are one call, not a new contract.

Providing clean facilities for your crew is not optional on a QLD construction site. The unit that turns up is site-grade, not an event leftover, and it is built to handle daily use by a full crew.

Family-run since 1960.

Most construction sites in Brisbane have temporary power running inside the week. Here is how it works.

You call, we quote the same published price you saw on our site. We visit the block, confirm the pole position and the metering requirements, and book the install. On the day, the pole goes up with three metal stays and we lodge the Energex electrical work request ourselves. You do not need to chase that separately.

The 12-week minimum hire starts from install. If your build runs longer, we just keep it running. Pickup is one call.

If you are on a tight site and the metal stays are eating ground you need, ask about the stayless option. Same power, no stays, smaller footprint.

Servicing Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich, Gold Coast and SEQ since 1960.

Temporary power pole hire in Brisbane. A 63A stayed site pole costs $600 ex GST with a 12-week minimum hire, plus $350 ex GST standard-zone delivery.

That is the price. It is on our website. Every competitor in SEQ will tell you to call for a quote, and we think you should know the number before you pick up the phone.

What $600 gets you: a metered temporary power supply on your construction site so the trades can start work before permanent power is connected. Three metal stays anchor the pole, and we handle the Energex electrical work request ourselves, so you are not chasing paperwork between a pole supplier and a network provider.

Got a written quote from someone else? We will beat it by 5% on a like-for-like hire.

If Energex has sent you a defect notice about your private power pole, the letter is more alarming than the job usually is.

Here is the plain version. The pole from the street to your house is yours, not Energex's, so rectifying it is on you, and under the Electrical Safety Act you have to do it inside the timeframe on the notice. That timeframe is the only genuinely urgent part.

We supply the pole, install it, and manage the Energex application ourselves, so you are dealing with one team rather than coordinating a pole supplier, an electrician and a paperwork trail. Most defect jobs we take on are sorted inside the week.

Permanent poles start at $1,850 ex GST plus $350 delivery, and every job is quoted fixed before we start.

Servicing Brisbane, the Redlands, Logan, Ipswich and SEQ since 1960.

Spring is when the calendar goes sideways. Fetes, markets, fun runs, race days, the school carnival everyone forgot to book for.

If you are running one this season, the loos are the bit people only notice when they are wrong. Ours are a dedicated event fleet, so the unit that turns up to your event has never sat on a building site, and it arrives cleaned rather than just emptied.

From $88 inc. GST plus $154 delivery, 4-day minimum. Booking more than one for the same venue? 20% off each additional unit, all the way down the order.

The guide to what type and how many you need for your headcount, link's in our bio. Worth doing now rather than the week before.

Every site needs the same three things sorted before the trades turn up, and chasing three different suppliers for them is a waste of a morning.

Site loo, power pole, camera. One call, one delivery window, one invoice.

Construction portaloo is $210 ex GST for the four-week minimum, plus $140 standard-zone delivery. Fortnightly servicing is included in that, not bolted on after: a vacuum truck visits every two weeks, and if you are running a big crew we will step it up to weekly.
