That's a wrap on NRW 2026.

Every year, the cupcakes come out. It's a small moment, but it's a chance for the whole Camco team, from Canning Vale to Karratha, to pause and mark the week together.

This year we shared the faces behind our RAP Committee, and a journey nearly a decade in the making. But more than anything, we hope it was a reminder that this work doesn't live in one week, one post, or one team. It lives in the day-to-day decisions we make, the relationships we build, and the accountability we hold ourselves to.

NRW 2026 is done. The work isn't. Camco is .

For over 30 years, Camco Engineering has been proudly Western Australian owned and made. Four locations, fifteen facilities, and a team of over 550 West Australians stretching from Perth to the Pilbara.

This state has been integral to everything we have built, and we are committed to giving that back through the people we develop, the jobs we create and the manufacturing capability we continue to grow right here at home. What WA needs, WA builds - right here at Camco.

Happy WA Day from us to you.

This National Reconciliation Week, meet Camco's RAP Committee.

18 people across our business have dedicated themselves to driving reconciliation from the inside out. Camco's RAP Committee is not a single team or department, it is a cross-section of our entire organisation from senior leaders to commercial staff to workshop teams. That diversity is intentional; reconciliation is not the responsibility of one person or team - it belongs to all of us.

The Committee meets regularly throughout the year to drive, monitor, and report on our reconciliation commitments, ensuring our actions are not just aspirational but measurable, transparent, and accountable.

Their work is what turns a plan into practice. We are proud to have them leading the way and we are .

Today, National Reconciliation Week begins. For Camco Engineering, it is also a moment to reflect on nearly a decade of meaningful action.

Our reconciliation journey started in 2017. Since then, we have completed multiple Reconciliation Action Plans, deepened our relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, grown our presence on Country across Western Australia and beyond, and continued to embed reconciliation into the way we work. We did this not as a compliance exercise, but as a genuine commitment to building a more inclusive and equitable future.

Reconciliation is not a destination. It is an ongoing process of listening, learning, and taking practical action. We are proud of the progress made, and clear-eyed about the work still ahead.

Camco acknowledges the Traditional Owners of every Country we work on and pay our respects to Elders past and present. We are grateful for the relationships, guidance, and partnerships that continue to shape our journey.

We are still here. We are still committed. That is the way we work - and we are hashtag .

Another complex refurbishment scope completed out of our Welshpool workshop.

A set of heavy-duty bulk material chute assemblies came in from service requiring full structural assessment and repair: blast cleaning, 100% MPI crack detection, UT thickness testing, major plate work, reverse engineering of damaged components, custom liner design and supply, and full trial assembly prior to dispatch.

This is the kind of time-critical, high-complexity work Camco is built for. Innovative solutions, uncompromising quality, and equipment that leaves our workshop ready to perform every time.

This past April, our CEO and BDM travelled to Washington D.C. to attend the Sea Air Space Exhibition.

As a major global defence maritime event, it provided a valuable platform to engage with international technology trends and explore opportunities to bring world-class defence manufacturing capabilities home to Western Australia.

By expanding our expertise and heavy engineering capacity, we continue to position WA as a vital hub for sovereign defence supply chains and high-precision manufacturing.

Karratha!

It was great to see a strong turnout at the KDCCI Job Expo this past Wednesday. Our team enjoyed discussing the work Camco does at our Gap Ridge facility and employment opportunities open to the local community.

The day was also a great chance to reconnect with our partners at the Swan Districts Football Club. We have proudly sponsored the club for several years, and we value the role they play in keeping the Karratha community connected.

If you had a chat with our recruitment officer Dana Jurkovic or are interested in joining the hashtag , send your resume to [email protected].

Throwback to when Minister Amber-Jade Sanderson visited Camco Canning Vale last month.

It was a great opportunity to showcase our progress in establishing the first wind turbine anchor cage manufacturing capability in Western Australia.

Through our partnership with the State Government, we are bringing specialist production to Perth and creating 26 new local jobs. This investment is a vital step for the domestic supply chain, ensuring more of our renewable energy infrastructure is built right here at home. By focusing on local industry, we are helping deliver the projects and opportunities that will power the state's transition to a renewable future.
