A hat fit for the races 👒
This was a custom order for Jenny; I’m so glad I was able to replicate the idea she had and add my own touches to it (the hat band and ‘flower’). She loved it so much I’ve got a second order for another one so stay tuned. I’ll be making another hat and trying my hand at making an Akubra 🤠

🌟 SOLD 🌟 hanging double bird bath/bird feeder - $140.
This piece has x2 plough discs with welded chain between them. The top disc is larger (ideal for water) and the bottom disc is smaller and ideal for bird seed. This bird feeder has been hanging in a tree and has been very popular amongst the birds 🐦‍⬛

Introducing Dorrick the Dragonfly!

This beauty is a custom order present and the recipient hasn’t received it yet so that’s all I can say about it for now.
This was good fun to make and I’m really happy with how it turned out. It’s placed on an old plough handle and the handle works again (after only a few tiny modifications). This means it can be propped up at any angle you want in the 90 degree axis (video to follow).
I also love that the wings and tail wobble around in the breeze - I think it adds so much life to Dorrick.

Yolanda the yellow tail black cockatoo 🪶🖤💛🖤

This was a custom order and I learnt some great lessons, techniques and just how long these intricate pieces take. It took me around 45 hours to complete and turned out so much cooler and more detailed than I ever expected when I first took on the challenge. My favourite feature is that the neck is on a baring that swivels so the head rotates and can be positioned facing front on or side on to get the full effect.

This beauty was made for Daniel, Lara and their girls and Daniel has already said there will likely be some more custom orders in the future.

📷 Enjoy the progress pictures and the complete painted pics. I havent got any pictures from when it had rusted over nicely (weld marks/grind marks etc) - another lesson learnt to take more pics before sending it off 🤣

I’m onto my next challenge; a dragonfly sculpture so will post photos of that once complete.
