Something we don’t see too often these days, customer complained of the car overheating, radiator had no circulation, and the heater wasnt getting hot.

After some diagnostic work, this lead us to the conclusion, that the impeller on the water pump must be missing or damaged .

Now winter is here, people are struggling to demist the windscreen on the inside of the vehicle while driving, believing turning the temperature control to hot and direction control to windscreen is the best way to demist, this actually makes the problem worse , see our tip below for the best and quickest way to demist your windscreen.

Tip:
Place the direction control to windscreen, set the air mode to fresh air, engage the air conditioning, and set the temperature control to where is most comfortable for you.

This is the perfect example of a quality radiator verse an inferior copy, the unit on the right in the first picture is a koyo unit, which is a direct replacement to the oe unit in thermal qualities, the unit to the left is an inferior copy of the original, that the customer sourced on line, note the difference in the tube spacing, and the difference in the fin work.

When purchasing a radiator for your vehicle, always buy from a trusted supplier, that sell’s trusted brands, that meet or exceed original manufacturers specifications.
