Bringing High-Detail Ambulatory Imaging to the Field 🐴📸
We recently had the privilege of supporting the 3-Day Equine Veterinary Dentistry Workshop & Wetlab across UWA and the Dental Vet Clinic in Forrestdale.
Organised by Dr Kirsten Jackson and a team of experienced WA equine practitioners, the focus was entirely on practical, real-world skills.
What We Shared at the ATX Table
Vets who stopped by our table were interested in two main practical solutions:
- Poskom AirRay Mini + Vieworks DR Plate: Field imaging takes a physical toll, and the feedback on the AirRay Mini was immediate—vets (especially those doing high-volume ambulatory work) loved how compact and lightweight it is without sacrificing exposure power or image crispness.
- Customisable Radiation PPE: Radiograph safety is non-negotiable, but lead gowns don't have to be boring. Our custom pattern options got plenty of smiles and interest across the three days.
Dr Kirsten Jackson has been using ATX imaging equipment in her practice since 2003. On Day 2, we ran the new AirRay Mini and Vieworks DR panel combo during the practical sessions. Here is Kirsten’s feedback after viewing the shots:
"It was great to see the Poskom AirRay—it is so small and light and looks great! They are very nice images and definitely more detailed than our current system."
A big thanks to Kirsten, the teaching team, and all 17 delegates for putting in three days of dedicated clinical learning.
