G'day caravanners! Your trusty UHF radio is an absolute lifesaver out on the road, perfect for chatting with mates in a convoy, getting traffic updates, or even calling for help. But just like driving, there are a few unwritten (and some written!) rules to keep things smooth and clear for everyone.

Think of it as road etiquette for your radio. Channel 40 is your general highway chatter – keep it brief and polite! If you're travelling in a caravan convoy, Channel 18 is often the go-to for your group. And for emergencies, remember Channel 16 is the one, but use it *only* when it's genuinely needed. Keep transmissions short, clear, and don't hog the channel – no one likes a chatterbox taking up airtime!

ESC / Electronic Stability Control is pretty much a must-have these days. They prevent your rig from jack-knifing in an emergency situation - a bit like ABS brakes on your car. We repair and maintain all ESC brands such as ALKO, Dexter, Lippert.
