A HUGE Congratulations to Zed!

We are incredibly proud to share that Zed, who completed his apprenticeship with EDMS Australia earlier this year, has been awarded not one, but TWO outstanding awards!

Engineering – Fabrication Apprentice of the Year

Apprentice of the Year – Across All Trades!

Anyone who has worked alongside Zed knows he is determined and committed to what he does. He also has a great sense of humour and fits right in with any crew, making him a valued member of the EDMS team.

These awards are a fantastic recognition of the hard work and dedication Zed has put into his trade.

We would also like to congratulate and thank Zed's mentors and family, who have supported and guided him throughout his apprenticeship.

Well done, Zed! What an incredible achievement and a great way to kick off your career as a qualified tradesman. We can't wait to see what the future holds for you!

Great to be part of this year’s STEM in the Tropics, hosted by the FNQ STEM Hub! 🌴🔬
EDMS’ Chris Pitcher and Joe Dobson were proud to attend and connect with others who are passionate about STEM, innovation and inspiring the next generation.
Events like this are a fantastic opportunity to share ideas, build connections and support the growing STEM community across Far North Queensland.
Thanks to the FNQ STEM Hub for bringing everyone together — we’re looking forward to seeing where the next generation of STEM talent takes us! 🚀

Quality you can see. Craftsmanship you can trust.

Another big job is heading out of our workshop and off to its new home.

This large agitator structure will soon be installed over a thickener at one of our local client sites, fabricated, welded and finished right here at EDMS.

Alongside it, we’ve also got some water pump pipework ready to go. And if there’s one thing these pieces of work have in common, it’s the quality of the craftsmanship behind them.

At EDMS, we’re proud to have a quality workshop, quality equipment and machinery, but most importantly, quality tradespeople who know their craft.

It’s that combination that delivers the standard our clients have come to expect when they choose to have their work made by EDMS.

Quality work. Quality people. Built at EDMS.

Big tanks. Big job. Built to last.

There’s something pretty satisfying about seeing a project leave the workshop that started as a pile of steel and finished as something this impressive.

These massive tanks are now heading out of our Townsville workshop to one of our long-term local clients. Another project our team can be proud to put the EDMS name on.

From fabrication and welding through to the final details, quality is built into every stage of the process. The size might grab your attention, but it’s the workmanship that matters.

Built by our people. Built for the job. Built to last.

Another quality EDMS fabrication on its way.
