CNC Machinist Vacancy
Location - Caboolture
D.E.M Solutions Pty Ltd is a diversified engineering and manufacturing company that services a wide range of different industries, we pride ourselves in having a clean, modern and organised workshop. We have a vacancy available for a qualified CNC Machinist to support the Company's manufacturing needs and will have the opportunity to grow within the company.
The Opportunity
Having sound experience with the operation of Manual and CNC machines, including:
Lathe's and milling machines
Strong CNC turning skills
Programming experience - not essential
Setting and operating a DMG Mori & HAAS Lathes and Milling machines
To be successful in this role you will need to also possess the following skills and abilities:
Trade qualified Fitter Turner or Machinist
Experience in general fitting and machining with stainless, mild steel, aluminium and plastics fabrication
Have experience with programming preferable but not essential.
Ability to work unassisted, work to deadlines and produce quality workmanship at all times.
Ability to read and follow drawings and work to tight tolerances
Have a great work ethic with a "can do" attitude
Be comfortable in operating more than one machine at a time
Willing to train an apprentice
A high level of mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
Strong organisational and time management skills
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Physical stamina and ability to lift and move materials
What's in it for you?
This is a Permanent Full Time position with a 6 month probation period.
Normal working hours are Monday to Thursday from 7.00am to 3.30pm and Friday 6.00am to 12:00pm which includes overtime hours. Some Saturday's are required to be worked, hours varying and is paid at overtime rates.
