Always numerous tasks to keep us occupied and never finding time to update our page here at Gheed Up Fab, but several different jobs have been underway, picking up from the Falcon skid car completion, we had a horse float come in for rust repair and rehabilitation, as well as a cleanup, alongside a GU ute that came in for rust repairs on the chassis, which escalated into a full chassis swap, bringing with it bonuses such as becoming coil-sprung in the rear, resulting in a comprehensive overhaul, including new cab mount rubbers and bushes, superior shocks, Dobinson coils, and all new bearings plus tray mounts being relocated and the tray shortened to suit the new chassis, in addition to several smaller fill-in jobs, take a look at some of the before and after photos.

At Gheed Up Fabrications, we have been working on various projects over the past couple of weeks, including fabricating and installing a 4-point half cage, spare wheel well and parcel shelf delete, and fitting a new fuel cell and fuel pumps in a BA Falcon that will be used for burnouts. Additionally, we have utilized our spare time to complete small TIG jobs like extending the power steering reservoir and installing a 4-inch stainless steel exhaust on our own build.

Abit of an update what we have had going on in the Gheed Up shed had Nicks barra converted F100 in originally for a dump pipe, mount intercooler and cooler pipes along with screamer, while we had it in and in the hoist but chucked some extras on the list like completed exhaust with side exit tear drop, notched the chassis and removed load spring then made and fitted some traction bars.

Also had Tylas Dmax in up on the hoist for body mount chop and shut keeping the factory look, along with fitting 3” adjustable dobinson lift and new set of wheels and tyres.
